The Evening Receptionist will be the initial contact for clients attending evening appointments or referring themselves to the service during evening hours. The post therefore requires a sensitive, sympathetic approach and client confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
The staff team consists of 7 members of staff and several volunteers. The evening receptionist’s duties overlap with those of the Finance and Administration Officer, who is responsible for ensuring accurate records including the office calendar.
The post requires some flexibility over working hours. At present the required hours are 5.15pm – 8.15pm, Monday to Wednesday. The office is closed on Fridays.
All Safe Space staff are required to hold Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) clearance. Preference will be given to applicants who already hold clearance.
