The successful candidate for this position must have significant experience of working with children and young people. We are looking for someone who has an good understanding and experience of the therapeutic benefits of play and either experience of working with bereaved children or skills that are transferable to bereavement support.
Richmond’s Hope will provide a comprehensive induction programme which will include training in the methodology of Richmond’s Hope. As lead bereavement support worker the postholder will carry our supervision, support and training for our bereavement workers in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Working as part of the staff team of Richmond’s Hope (Edinburgh) they will provide bereavement support to children and young people aged from 4 to 18 years.
Applicants should have enthusiasm and vision for the work of the organisation, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
