• Join one of Scotland’s largest voluntary social work organisations
• Ongoing training & career development
• Generous pension & holiday allowance
Part of CrossReach Children’s Services, our Community Team in partnership with local agencies, supports young people to be a part of community life. By adopting a child-centred approach our team works with the ‘whole-child’, focusing on improving relationships, enhancing personal development and attending education. The Service is initially located on Ballikinrain Campus in Balfron, Stirlingshire, however we have plans to extend our community houses in areas close to our new education resource in Erskine.
As team leader you will support the Service Leader in the overall management of a cluster of community based houses, implementing care and education plans for each child. You you will be required to be registered with Scottish Social Services Council [SSSC] and have the minimum qualification of HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3. A commitment to attain a management qualification within the registration period is also required. In fact, we’ll make sure that you have all the training and development you need, not only so you can do a great job, but to help you build your career with us too.
You can also look forward to an excellent benefits package that includes an employer contributory pension and generous holiday allowance.
What’s more, you will be part of one of Scotland’s largest voluntary social work organisations. At CrossReach, we offer quality care and counselling to a wide range of people in need. But the real story of CrossReach is the work that our staff do: reaching out and making a real difference to the lives of others. If you’d like to join them, we look forward to hearing from you.
Applicants are required to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This post is subject to PVG membership.
