This is a science communication role of both formal and informal Learning programmes where you will play an active role in the delivery and further development of our Learning Programme and associated Public Engagement and Outdoor Learning activities.
In the main you will deliver different elements of the established Learning Programme in our dedicated learning spaces. You will also contribute to the development of our Earth and Environmental Science school related programmes, the production of supporting educational materials and the sourcing of teaching equipment and resources. The current development focus for our schools programme is around digital learning and making so relevant skills and an interest in this area would be advantageous.
In addition, you will assist in the delivery and development of the Outdoor Learning Programme and play a key delivery role in Public Engagement activities. This includes in-house delivery as well as supporting outreach activity in locations across Scotland.
You will be an integral member of a small but dynamic team where you will work, in part, to a determined schedule and in part on projects where self-management is required.
