We believe in children – at the Barnardo's Caern Project we deliver a variety of quality services for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism. We have done this for over forty years.
We are looking to recruit Senior Residential Workers to manage and support a team of staff who provide care and support for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism to enable them to achieve positive outcomes.
You will be a resilient and committed worker.
You will have knowledge and understanding of best practice in the fields of disability, autism and residential care.
Working primarily in the residential setting you will promote the happiness, safety and welfare of the young people during short breaks.
Ideally you will have experience working with young people and the required qualifications for full registration as a residential child care worker with supervisory responsibilities the SSSC or the willingness to work towards them.
The full-time posts are 37 hours a week. Shifts will be allocated on a rota.
It is anticipated that Senior Residential Project Workers will work these hours over five days each week including weekends, early mornings and evenings.
