Role

Addaction is one of the leading national charities providing evidence-based support for substance misuse, mental health and family services across the UK.

We are currently looking to recruit three Recovery Workers to join our Recovery Hubs in North West and North East of Glasgow.

1 x Recovery Worker | North West Glasgow | Permanent Post | circa £22,000

2 x Sessional Recovery Workers | North East & North West Glasgow | £10.88 per hour

Ideally the successful candidates will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative and supportive manner. He/she will be someone who thrives under pressure, has good time management and prioritisation skills and can work well with others.

In addition he/she will need to be positive, confident and well organised with experience of working with substance misuse service users in a health, social care or criminal justice setting.

An SVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care is required as a minimum qualification.

Working hours | 5 days over 7, Monday – Sunday. Working pattern will be agreed with Service Manager on appointment.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver services within the community so a driving license is essential.
