Here at the CrossReach Bluebell Perinatal Service, Glasgow , we understand that when a parent experiences perinatal depression or anxiety, the whole family is affected. By offering therapy and support to mothers and fathers and their children, we hope to support families in alleviating their distress
This is a varied and dynamic role where you will take responsibility for assessing referrals and allocation of clients, as well as specific tasks in managing the day-to-day operations and administration of the service. You will carry your own small caseload, assist with recruiting and training staff, and be involved with the service profile and fundraising activities.
With a recognised Diploma in Counselling you will have experience of working within a team, and of providing clinical supervision. Experience in perinatal mental health (ante/postnatal depression) will be an advantage but is not essential. In return you can look forward to ongoing training and development, along with an excellent benefits package including employer contributory pension and generous holiday allowance.
You will also be part of one of Scotland’s largest voluntary social work organisations.
At CrossReach, we offer quality care and counselling. But the real story of CrossReach is the work that our staff do: reaching out and making a difference to the lives of others.
Applicants are required to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos.
