We have an exciting opportunity for a caring, compassionate and experienced Manager to join our team in Perthshire that currently provide care and support to a young lady living with a spinal injury in her own home.

The Service Leader will initially lead and manage a team of approximately 15 frontline staff working in a single site but will move on to manage multi sites and various staff teams in the area as a result of business growth.

They will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for the daily management of the service(s)and the staff team(s). They will be responsible for ensuring staff team(s) are suitably trained, well supported and supervised, having the tools to carry out their role to the best of their ability. They will also be responsible and accountable for the 24-hour management of the service(s), ensuring that all aspects of support and service delivery is person centred. This includes having involvement in the creation and auditing of care and support plans, risk assessments and other safe systems of work.

The successful candidate will have effective communication, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills. They will be responsible for working with both internal and external partners including our regulators, other healthcare professionals and family members. He or she will also be committed to person-centred planning, supporting positive risk taking and best practice for individual reviews.

The successful candidate will have a current SSSC or equivalent registration or the ability to be registered on taking up the post. Knowledge and experience of working with supported individuals with spinal injuries advantageous. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
