This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in an influential organisation that campaigns for a fairer Scotland where people are empowered and their rights respected.

Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) based in Edinburgh, is the umbrella organisation providing support to Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) across Scotland. The Citizen Advice service helps hundreds of thousands of people resolve their problems each year by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Citizens Advice Scotland runs a series of national specialist services as projects which require centralised project co-ordination. This role will be allocated responsibility for the Armed Services Advice Project, ensuring successful delivery and development where appropriate.

The successful candidate will coordinate the project across bureaux in Scotland. The purpose of the project is to provide holistic information, advice and support services for veterans, serving personnel and their families throughout Scotland.

The role will require liaison with a number of stakeholders – within CAS, across Bureaux, Poppyscotland, and other statutory and voluntary organisations.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of project development, co-ordination and implementation as well as contract management and problem resolution.

Specifically, they will have a great experience of project organisation including the ability to contribute to the development of project plans, monitor progress and identify issues during the project lifetime. They will also be able to gather, monitor, review and evaluate information in order to undertake analysis and produce quality reports.
