Youth charity The Prince's Trust Scotland enables young people who are unemployed or struggling at school to develop the confidence and skills they need to live, learn and earn. Our job is to inspire, support and encourage young people in Scotland to reach their full potential, and to work with colleagues across the UK to realise The Trust’s bold ambition to transform a million more young lives over the next ten years.
To help us realise our vision we are looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager who will be responsible for activity across Scotland. The role is based in our Glasgow hub with travel throughout Scotland.
As a member of the local leadership group and a part of our marketing and communications team you will work to raise the profile of The Trust’s cause, services, campaigns and events in Scotland through a mix of traditional marketing, digital marketing and media relations.
This role reports into the Head of Communications with a dotted line to the Head of Community Engagement for Scotland. In this role, you would also be responsible for two direct line reports; a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator and a Digital Marketing & Community Engagement Trainee.
We are looking for an innovative, energetic and passionate communicator with experience in planning and delivering high impact marketing and communications activities. From using social media to reach new audiences with compelling content to creating case studies for press and preparing impactful posters and flyers, candidates will be used to managing multiple projects comfortably and will also have experience of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
