Full induction and good training opportunities will be provided.
Neighbourhood Networks encourage people to think about how they might come together to help each other. We work with people who may be isolated or at risk of isolation within their communities. This may be as a result of a learning disability, poor mental health, a physical disability, sensory impairment or as a result of a variety of other circumstances.
We currently have a vacancy for a Community Living Worker in East Kilbride. The role involves supporting the development of local networks alongside the network manager ensuring that network members are supported to achieve positive life outcomes.
We are looking for a flexible, creative and energetic person who feels passionately about the rights of people to live full and included lives, with real mutually supportive friendships. A strong connection to the local community would be desirable.
We have over 20 well-established and successful Networks across the central belt of Scotland and over 15 years of experience in delivering peer support networks.
SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable, or willingness to work towards qualification.
