Role

Neighbourhood Networks encourage people to think about how they might come together to help each other. We work with people who may be isolated or at risk of isolation within their communities. This may be as a result of a learning disability, poor mental health, a physical disability, sensory impairment or as a result of a variety of other circumstances.

We currently have a vacancy for a Community Living worker in Haddington. The role involves supporting the development of local networks alongside the network manager ensuring that network members are supported to achieve positive life outcomes.

Are you flexible, creative, energetic and passionate about the rights that an individual has to live a full inclusive life, with mutually supportive friendships. Do you have a strong connection to the local community? Additional role benefits include all member work related expenses and 6 weeks annual and staff training opportunities.

We have over 20 well-established and successful Networks across the central belt of Scotland and over 15 years of experience in delivering peer support networks.
