Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic programme officer to coordinate the development and delivery of CES’ Community Capacity Building programme briefing sessions and materials, and to provide technical advice and support for a number of participating community organisations.

Community Energy Scotland is setting up a new programme of support, training and advice which aims to build the capacity of community organisations working in areas of fuel poverty, to develop projects that tap into opportunities which are arising from the changing energy system. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate both strong communication skills as well as knowledge and experience of supporting communities to develop energy related initiatives.

This is a fixed term post, until 30 November 2019, with likelihood of extension for a further year depending on securing funding.
