Are you passionate about promoting sustainability and social justice? Highland One World (HOW) is looking to recruit a Global Youth Officer to support young people to take action on global issues.

HOW is a small ‘not for profit’ educational charity based in Inverness which exists to promote sustainability and social justice. We work collaboratively with educators in the formal and informal sectors, local authority staff and other partners to support and develop global citizenship education.

As part of the HOW team, the Global Youth Officer will help to deliver the objectives of Start the Change! This is a European funded project which aims to empower young people aged 15-24 to have a voice and take action on issues related to migration, inequality and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

With a commitment to social justice and sustainability and the values of Highland One World, the post holder will have experience of working with young people and a passion for creative and innovative approaches to youth voice and action.
