The five North Lanarkshire Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) are working together to test a new multi-channel debt advice service to increase the number of people who can be helped with managing their debts. The money advice helpline adviser will play a key role in the delivery of the pilot project. This project aims to improve access to and the efficiency of debt advice services for people in North Lanarkshire. It will help inform how debt advice will be delivered in the future throughout Scotland. The two money advice helpline advisers are the first point of contact with clients who access the service through a dedicated helpline by phone and webchat.
