Communications & Customer Engagement Officer

Would you like to help us to make Leith an even better place for people to live, visit and do business?

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong influencing and digital skills to help shape how we communicate and engage with a wide audience of internal and external customers, including the media.

Working as part of a small and ambitious team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to strongly influence our communications and customer engagement strategy, working closely with colleagues at all levels across the Port of Leith Housing Association Group and directly with our customers.

A skilled storyteller across print and digital channels, you will also be adept at engaging with our tenants, and other customers, and encouraging them to get involved in shaping our services.

This role will suit individuals who relish managing a varied workload, pay close attention to detail and have a strong track record of consistently meeting deadlines.

You will have 3-5 years’ experience working in a communications role as part of an inhouse or agency team. You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent (SCQF level 9). Holding a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing is desirable.
