Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) works on behalf of the more than one in four children in the UK growing up in poverty. We use our understanding of what causes poverty and the impact it has on children’s lives to campaign for policies that will prevent and solve poverty – for good. We also provide training, advice and information to make sure hard-up families get the financial support they need.
Based in our busy Glasgow office you will play a vital role in delivering the important work of CPAG in Scotland. Working with three other administrative staff you will provide support to the Director of CPAG in Scotland and the Head of Advice and Rights Scotland. You will provide administrative assistance in relation to our finance, personnel, marketing, training, events and other customer service activity.
Experience of office administration, using all basic Microsoft Office packages, and of providing administrative assistance for training, seminar or conference type events will be essential to this role as will experience of working to tight deadlines. You will also have excellent customer care skills, the ability to learn how to use IT systems and to work with a diverse range of people.
