Health in Mind is looking for an outstanding Social Prescribing Development Worker to join our Community Mental Health and Wellbeing team working in Midlothian and the Scottish Borders.
This is an exciting post, part of a new partnership funded by The Big Lottery, working across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Social Prescribing Development Worker will work one day per week in Midlothian with our established Access Point team and three days per week developing a new Social Prescribing Service in the Scottish Borders.
You will have experience supporting vulnerable people; you will be able to understand their diverse and complex needs and use a social prescribing approach to meet these needs; you will be experienced in monitoring and evaluation and setting, achieving and reporting on plans.
Alongside this, you will be dynamic, resilient, creative, a good networker and communicator, able to manage risk and balance the demands of operational developmental and partnership issues.
