Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life.
We support and enable more than 1100 community groups across Scotland, provide information and advice through our free helpline and publications, tackle loneliness and isolation with our Community Connecting Service and much more.
We work to influence policy makers and run campaigns to make Scotland the best place in the world to grow older.
Will you help us to achieve this by becoming a member of our team?
We are currently recruiting Information Support Officers to work in our Helpline. The successful post holders will be responsible for providing an exemplary ‘First Port of Call’ service in a Helpline environment with inbound and outbound contact, providing Information and Friendship to older people living in Scotland, their families and carers. You will also provide cover and support to other telephony services within Age Scotland.
We have the equivalent of 2xFTE posts available and are looking for effective communicators with a good understanding of issues affecting older people.
The posts will be based in Edinburgh, but you may be expected to occasionally travel throughout Scotland and the wider-UK.
If you feel you have the skills, experience and ambition required to fulfil this role, then please apply via our website as detailed below:
