RASASH is committed to providing person centred, therapeutic emotional support and advocacy for anyone in the Highlands aged 13 or over affected by sexual violence; and to working to prevent and eliminate sexual violence in all forms.
We are currently recruiting for a 28 hpw Support & Development worker for a new project funded by Children in Need. The postholder will provide person centred therapeutic emotional support to young people of all genders aged 13-18 who have experienced sexual violence. The young persons’ service will be delivered in the afternoons & early evenings from our base in Inverness. This is a permanent post though subject to continued funding. Current funding is in place until December 2021.
In addition, we are recruiting for a 21 hpw generic Support & Development worker to support survivors of all ages (13+) and all genders. We are currently awaiting the results of another funding bid and may have one or two further generic part time Support & Development Worker Posts available at 28 hpw. We hope to recruit to all new posts at interviews on 7 December 2018.
