Scottish Minsters and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) are looking to appoint a Chair to Public Health Scotland. This will be a new national health body which will provide strong leadership and create a more integrated, consistent system for protecting public health, with the aim of increasing healthy life expectancy and reducing health inequality in Scotland.
