Role

Four Square has been a major provider of services for homeless and other people facing challenges in Edinburgh for 40 years. Four Square manages a wide range of services throughout Edinburgh, aimed at providing assistance and opportunities that will enable homeless and other people to develop the self-confidence and skills necessary for positive and sustainable independent living.

Our Stopover project provides emergency accommodation with support to up to 16 young people who are homeless or at risk.

Our Number Twenty project offers temporary supported accommodation for up to 6 young women who are homeless.

Our Training Flat scheme provides temporary accommodation with support for young people who are homeless.

As our Residential Services Manager you will ensure that the services and operational management at Stopover, Number Twenty and Training Flats Scheme are of the highest possible professional standards and are in line with Four Square agreed policies and procedures. Main purpose of Job

  • To ensure that the services and operational management at Stopover, Number Twenty and Tenancy Training Flats Scheme are of the highest possible professional standards and are in line with Four Square agreed policies and procedures.
  • To review these services on a regular basis.
  • To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and service contracts
  • To contribute towards the development of new services for young homeless people.
  • To assist the Social Care Manager in ensuring the maintenance of appropriate financial and administrative systems; in particular, ensuring the adherence to agreed project budgets.
  • To bring to the early attention of the Social Care Manager any issues affecting the overall management and development of the projects
