As a Tier 1 Telephone Sleep Advisor you would provide general sleep support and advice over the phone to the parents and guardians of typically developing children and young people with sleep problems. By listening to the parent/carer on the telephone, you will work to provide ideas and suggestions to improve the situation e.g. a good bedtime routine, gradual withdrawal techniques, action required in the middle of the night etc. Knowledge of sleep is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
