Hearts & Minds help vulnerable people overcome feelings of powerlessness and anxiety through the art of therapeutic clowning.
We are a Scottish charity that works in collaboration with paediatric healthcare units, respite centres, schools for learners with complex additional support needs and Dementia units to deliver laughter, friendship and support to those who need it most.
We are seeking a CEO to take us forward in the next stage of our development, as we implement strategic plans, grow our services and build our relationships with the people we serve and our funders. It’s an exciting time.
The CEO’s role is to lead the delivery of the organisation, ensuring that all aspects are consistent with the agreed strategy, artistic philosophy and delivery plan. The role works in partnership with the Board, Artistic Director and wider staff team to develop the vision, direction and purpose of the organisation.
We are looking for someone who is committed to arts-based therapy and has experience of a leadership role in an arts, arts-in-health or voluntary organisation. The CEO must have the drive and commitment to push Hearts & Minds forward and to raise the profile of arts-in health in Scotland.
