Support Workers and Relief Staff - Perthshire

In October we are launching a new flexible support service in the North of Perthshire. From Kinloch Rannoch in the West to Invergowrie in the East and from Perth to Spittal of Glenshee in the North.

We are looking for people to join our team and help us create and deliver a positive, recovery focused service to people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. The service will support people where and when they need it and will involve evening and weekend working to fit with people's needs. The service is currently based in Perth and we're developing remote working so if you live in the back of beyond that would be great as many of the people we support are there too.

We are really excited to be developing this service in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council, Turning Point Scotland and CATH and would welcome applicants who view partnerships as essential in helping people with multiple needs and opportunities in their lives, are up for testing new ways of working and can stick with people through challenging times. Many of the people we support experience homelessness as a consequence of the challenges they have experienced; mental and physical health problems, low expectations, poverty, trauma, addictions or abuse. Our staff support people to be confident, optimistic, and hopeful and have the resilience to be independent. It's not an easy job, it's a brilliant one.

We will provide you with a starting salary of £18087 rising in increments to £19601 (Relief workers will get £9.06 hourly rate), life insurance is x4 times your salary, a contributory pension scheme where we pay 4%, 35 days annual leave (38 days after 5 years), holiday buy back scheme and childcare vouchers.
