Service:South East Recovery Service - Edinburgh

Change Grow Live South East Edinburgh Recovery Service provides recovery focused psychosocial interventions to service users experiencing drug and alcohol related issues. We work within a hub model with partners who include NHS Lothian, CEC Social Work and other voluntary agencies to ensure individualised packages of care to enable service users to achieve their recovery goals.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team, providing the high-quality delivery of recovery focused interventions to service users in South East Edinburgh. The service will be delivered from our main base in Captains Road Neighbourhood Centre and on an outreach basis in a variety of venues across the locality. Support is provided in a one to one and groupwork setting.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field. Also necessary is a commitment to multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, experience of working within an outcomes-focused approach and a practical approach to facilitating service user involvement.
