Glasgow Association for Mental Health is one of the principal providers of community mental health services in Greater Glasgow. It aims to provide high quality support both to those who are experiencing mental health difficulties and to their carers. GAMH is committed to the principles of Recovery and to raising the awareness and understanding of Mental Health issues.
We wish to appoint an individual who has experience of managing staff within a social care setting and is familiar with coordinating staff resources.
The role of the Team Co-ordinator is to provide first line management to the team. The Team Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the effective delivery of our groupwork services ensuring that they meet key service level objectives and the expressed needs of service users.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the values and attitude required to work with people who are living with mental health problems and who may have complex needs.
Knowledge of the SSSC’s Codes of Practice and the National Care Standards and how this framework applies to practice is preferred for all posts. A qualification at SVQ2 or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification is essential.
All applicants must be able to work flexibly; some early morning, evening and weekend working will be required. Full induction and training will be provided.

These posts are regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
