We are looking for a naturally organized individual to support the volunteer manager in overseeing the provision of good quality support, advice and information to all our service users and volunteers.
We have a team of 4 staff and 50 volunteers. The right person will be fully confident with excel and at the same time be confident enough to communicate the needs of the service to all our key stakeholders.
OVERALL AIM OF THE SERVICE
CARDS (Community Alcohol Related Damage Service) matches volunteers with individuals who have problematic, long term history of alcohol use in the local community and are currently receiving little or no support in terms of their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
OVERALL PURPOSES OF JOB
· Be responsible for the overall organization of the services data and communications.
· To effectively support with the co-ordination of the volunteers to achieve the aims and meet the key performance indicators of the service.
· To develop and sustain links with individuals, groups, agencies and be involved with the publicity and promotion of the project.
· To work in a sensitive, flexible and non-judgmental way and be able and willing to receive and deliver feedback within an equal opportunities’ framework.
