Sessional Workers (Adult Learning)

  • Hours to be negotiated between 14 and 28 hours per week until 31 March 2020. £18 per hour .


We seek up to three sessional workers to deliver formal and informal learning programmes in Aberdeenshire to individuals and small groups of disabled people and carers and to small groups of practitioners.

These are rewarding, exciting and varied posts allowing you to work with learners on their self-identified learning plans. You will help to build participants’ confidence, guiding them to success and onward work or learning.

You can expect to get involved with supporting a wide range of learning in areas including community action and leadership, basic digital skills, literacies, creative courses, reflective learning or core skills.

For those candidates with significant digital and online experience, you can also expect to be working with groups of learners online to explore how thinking digitally enhances the way individuals and organisations can deliver their services.

This post is home-based in Aberdeenshire. The work will involve some visits to learner’s homes, group support in community venues and involves regulated work for which a PVG will be required.
