This is a full time, permanent post working within YouthLink Scotland’s Communications and Public Affairs Team. The key purpose is to develop the company’s diverse range of digital communication channels and projects.
We are looking for a Senior Digital and Communications Officer with a mix of experience in communications, digital development, media and ICT to support and enhance our digital footprint and overall communications offer. You will be creative and enthusiastic and able to manage and deliver work, working collaboratively with colleagues on different national projects, advising and providing content through our communications channels.
The post-holder will be responsible for creating and implementing a digital and communication’s strategy and plan to support cross-organisational priorities. They will contribute to the operational management of all digital projects and communication channels including: websites, content management systems, social media channels - ensuring quality of content, brand and messaging. They will lead on the organisations Digital Evolution Strategy to embed digital across the organisation and make the most of new technologies to support business needs and goals. They will line manage a Design and Multimedia Officer.
This will involve providing the technical knowledge and support to enable YouthLink Scotland to sustain and improve upon its current digital and communications offer.
