We have the following vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who welcomes the challenge of being part of an organisation committed to working alongside families and communities to tackle the effects of poverty and disadvantage.
The Family Wellbeing worker will provide a range of family support interventions to improve outcomes for vulnerable families. The family wellbeing work is designed to develop strategies for growth which respond to identified needs for individual families. The worker will be based in two primary schools in Glasgow.
The successful candidates will be qualified to minimum SVQ3 Social Services Children and Young People; social care; social work or equivalent qualification and have 2 years proven experience of working with parents in a community setting. They will be required to work effectively within a multiagency team and on their own initiative.
The post requires a commitment to equality of opportunity and human rights, and will be subject to a PVG check.
