We have administered and managed the Climate Challenge Fund on behalf of the Scottish Government since the Fund was introduced in 2008.To date the CCF has made over 1000 awards to community led organisations totalling more than £100 million.
We are seeking a Climate Challenge Fund Development Officer to work with communities as they develop and implement new projects and associated grant applications. This will involve monitoring and evaluating progress, documenting success, processing claims, and developing and maintaining partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have experience of budget and financial management and project management, including the ability to manage a suite of complex projects. The ability to create and maintain positive working partnerships is also essential for this role.
An interest in the climate change agenda, knowledge of community development, administering grants and workshop facilitation are all desirable skills and experience, although not essential to be considered for this role.
The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure Scotland (PVG) check.
