Since it was established in 1982 Willowacre Trust has offered support to families and individuals within Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire and Ayrshire enabling them to overcome difficulties and impact on tenancy sustainment. As the charitable subsidiary of West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA), Willowacre Trusts overarching aim is to tackle social and economic disadvantage within the communities served by WSHA.

Willoware Trust operates within the geographical areas served by WSHA which includes 54 separate communities. Willowacre Trust supports the delivery of multiple community and support services or activities, these services range from small scale capital projects to the provision of starter packs which contain essential household items to help disadvantaged tenants to accept or sustain tenancies. The Trust also operates Barrowfield Community Centre and supports the delivery of community based services in partnership with other third sector organisations. This includes children’s holiday food programme and initiatives supporting the advancement of community development. Willowacre Trust actively supports WSHA to deliver the ‘Supporting Communities’ Strategy 2018.

Enthusiastic and talented, you will proactively support, promote, develop and deliver our Digital Participation initiative to the communities we serve. You will deliver meaningful digital participation activities which support Willowacre Trust/West of Scotland Housing Association tenants to access online services. This involves working directly with individuals, communities and partner organisations.

With experienced in implementing high quality Digital Support Services or similar projects, along with excellent I.T. and communication skills with the ability to organise and prioritise your workload, you should be a strong team player and have a customer focused approach.
