  • 37 hours per week, fixed term for 2 years. Hours of work are flexible to fit with operational requirements and will include occasional evening and weekend work. Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) offers a Company Pension Scheme and will match your contribution, starting at 4%. 25 days annual leave plus 8 days public holidays.

Role

Responsible for the development and delivery of workshops, events and climate conversations at the Centre and across Forth Valley. Ensuring that all related activities and information is appropriate and accessible for people with sensory loss.

Work closely with Centre partners, including; RNIB Scotland, Action on Hearing Loss, Scottish War Blinded, NHS Forth Valley, Falkirk Council, Stirling Council and Blind Veterans UK as well as CVS Falkirk, Stirling Voluntary Enterprise and Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface to facilitate regular information events.

Responsible for administration and reporting to the Climate Challenge Fund on a regular basis. This includes monitoring and gathering feedback from participants, including testimonials and evaluating the responses.

The post holder will also work closely with Home Energy Scotland to submit details of people requiring further assistance of home visits.
