Role

The WSP is one of the delivery partners in “Click,” a new multi-agency partnership funded by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, through the Tampon Tax Fund until the 31st March 2021. “Click” will engage with those who are involved in selling or exchanging sex in off street locations in Scotland and will provide one-to-one outreach support in the community. It will also encourage women to take part in consultations, service user opportunities and creative participative research.

The WSP is pleased to be recruiting for 2 new posts - a Development Worker and a Resource Worker as part of ‘Click’ to develop methods to consult with, and encourage the participation of, women involved in selling or exchanging sex, and to provide opportunities for their views to inform policy and service development. These posts will work in partnership with frontline services offering support to women involved in selling or exchanging sex, so as to build capacity for engaging with service users. They will also produce and disseminate high quality information and resources, in print and online.

Development Worker

The aim of this post is to develop methods to consult with, and encourage the participation of, women involved in selling or exchanging sex and to provide opportunities for their views to inform policy and service development.

Main areas of work will be:

· Working in partnership with frontline services offering support to women involved in selling or exchanging sex so as to build capacity for engaging with service users.

· Developing participation research alongside women involved in selling or exchanging sex including further development of ‘Inside Outside Scotland’ (insideoutsidescotland.info)
