See Me is Scotland’s programme to end mental health stigma and discrimination. Our mission is to change minds, change policy and change practice across Scotland. See Me works with people with lived experience of mental health problems to influence change in communities, schools and workplaces and in health and social care.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Improvement Advisor to join our small health and social care team. As one of the Programmes priorities, the team works to influence policy and practice change to end mental health stigma and discrimination in a variety of health and social care settings across Scotland. As a skilled influencer, familiar with improvement methodologies and practice, you will engage people with lived experience to take forward a range of projects that aim to embed mental health inclusion and fair access to and experience within services and sources of support.
The role will be challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate will be an energetic and driven individual who is motivated to make a positive impact to end mental health stigma and discrimination. You’ll have good experience of working supportively with people and will have a strong equality and inclusion ethos and approach. At the same time, you’ll be adept at ensuring delivery to plan and capturing good monitoring data to support reporting and evaluation.
