An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Initiatives Officer to join our established and successful team based at our Head Office in Glasgow. This role will involve creating and developing new ideas and turning them into tangible initiatives to help homeless people achieve better lives. The post will require research into sources of grant funding as well as awareness of national strategies and funding streams. The post will involve creativity, and working either on your own or in partnership with others, preparing costed plans to set up and deliver initiatives, as well as identifying funding from sources of grant that are available. The post will also involve researching into corporate social responsibility sources and generating lasting relationships with potential corporate sponsors.
The Association has 26 project sites across Scotland offering services to enable excluded homeless people to develop the self-confidence and the skills required to live independently.
If you have the right values to work in the social care sector, can inspire and motivate, and be creative and determined, we would love to hear from you.
In return, we can offer a varied and challenging workload and a wide degree of autonomy. We also offer generous annual leave entitlement, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance and an employee assistance programme.
