Corporate Partnership Manager

  • Full time
  • £33,660 – £47,940
  • Edinburgh
  • Closing 12th June 2019

  • Advertised from 22nd May 2019

Founded in 1931, The National Trust for Scotland (NTS) protects some of our country’s most precious historical places and natural landscapes on behalf of everyone who loves Scotland.

As the largest conservation charity in Scotland, the Trust receives no direct funding from the government and is reliant on generous donations in order to protect the 90 visitor properties and almost 200 acres of countryside that NTS cares for, as well as coastlines, islands, wildlife, cottages, mountains, woodlands, battlefields, castles, and country houses.

With a refreshed brand and having invested both time and resource to build their knowledge and re-define their partnership offering to companies, NTS are now looking for an ambitious corporate partnership manager who will create, develop and implement a corporate partnership and revenue strategy, maximise income and raise the overall brand profile for the Trust. Delivering high quality, relevant stewardship and engagement programmes for all prospective partners, you will establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders to build confidence in NTS as a charity and develop the funding pipeline.

With a proven track record of initiating and delivering strategic and successful partnerships, within either a corporate fundraising or a business sales environment, you will bring excellent presentation and negotiation skills coupled with an engaging personal presence and ability to exert positive influence. Demonstrating a creative and strategic approach to donor cultivation and long-term planning, the successful candidate will have relevant experience in the creation of persuasive, compelling and profitable fundraising relationships and proposals and the ability to sustain and grow a portfolio of fruitful relationships.

This exciting role provides the rare opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact on the protection and promotion of Scotland’s heritage. If you are passionate about Scotland and its heritage, driven to succeed and excited to use your expertise and initiative to inspire current and new supporters, we would love to hear from you.
