We are looking for a part time Volunteer Assistant. This post is funded to 31 March 2021. The Volunteer Assistant will support the Development Officers in providing direct support to volunteers across our service and roles. They will contribute to the developments on Bipolar Scotland's volunteer network and ensure we continue to deliver a high-quality volunteer-led service. They will be a first point of contact for volunteers, building and maintaining strong communication and relationships with volunteers, sharing information and providing updates in a timely manner. There is the opportunity to be involved in recruitment and training.
Ideally you will have experience of working in the mental health sector – on a paid or voluntary basis.
Some evening and weekend working will be expected – the working pattern is negotiable.
