Role

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to successfully lead and deliver Sacro’s gender-based violence services through a period of development and change.

The Service Manager will manage the programme of activity of Sacro’s gender-based violence services, including but not exclusively:

  • Fearless: support service for male and LGBT+ victims of domestic abuse, a service which recently achieved SafeLives Leading Lights accredited status
  • Bright Choices: a honour-based violence service working with minority ethnic communities to address conflict and harm
  • Another Way/Click: Another Way works with women who sell or exchange sexual activity in Edinburgh and Lothians. A recent successful funding bid will launch Click, a new partnership approach to providing enhanced service provision across Scotland.

Candidates with experience of leading services in Scotland’s gender based violence sector will find this role both hugely exciting and challenging. A proven track record in working in one or more area of gender based violence is essential for this role.

You must also have experience of acting in the role of bid manager, in preparing and presenting submissions in procurement and grant application processes, as well as demonstrable experience in project and programme management.

Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme is a requirement this post.

31 days annual leave, plus 6 fixed public holidays, per annum, pro-rata.

Sacro Group Personal Pension Scheme.
