Role

Argyll and Bute TSI is looking for a skilled individual, with excellent interpersonal skills, to become our new Engagement/Policy Manager. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this is a key role within our management team. You will spearhead a revised approach to working in partnership with voluntary and community organisations in Argyll and Bute, ensuring that the voice of our third sector, including social enterprise, is heard everywhere it matters. As such you will lead on responses to national policy debates that impact the sector, and on the third sector’s interfaces at local level, for example, with community planning and with health and social care.

Success in the role will be very visible - to national and regional partners, and to our local communities. To be successful you will need to have a successful track record in policy and influencing, demonstrated through the results you have achieved. You will also need to be highly personable, enthusiastic and personally resilient, with the flexibility to accommodate the requirements of working successfully across such a geographically dispersed area.
