Deafblind Scotland is an award winning charity that champions deafblind people. With communication support, information and health and wellbeing activities, we enable deafblind people to have full and enriching lives. We change extraordinarily difficult lives into the ordinary, enabling simple pleasures like shopping, going to the football and meeting up with friends.

We are looking for cheerful, friendly Community Fundraiser with a can-do attitude, who is passionate about equality for people with sensory impairments to join our ambitious fundraising team.

The role will require development of existing fundraising initiatives including sponsored, bespoke, in aid of and community events and an ability to generate creative new ideas. They will also work with others across the organisation to ensure our campaigns including Deafblind Awareness week to achieve maximum profile for the organisation and support the growth of our supporter and donor bases.

The Community Fundraiser will need to have excellent customer service skills, drive and energy. You will grow income by developing strong donor relationships and will work across a broad range of fundraising disciplines. This will include working with our members. At Deafblind Scotland, we are creating a community where everyone works together to make the biggest possible difference for deafblind people and central to this, is working alongside our members.
