We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, self-motivated individual to take the lead in our Youth Work Team. The Youth Work Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering a youth work programme of drop in sessions, activities and events for young people aged 9-25 years.
Working closely with other community groups and organisations the post-holder will be expected to maintain and develop links involving young people with their wider community.
We are looking for someone with a proven record of leadership, directly engaging with young people and the ability to deal with challenging behaviours. Strong written and oral skills are essential as monitoring and evaluation is necessary for measuring outcomes and impact.
CAYAG is an established youth work charity based in the rural town of Coupar Angus with a track record of delivering personal, social and educational opportunities for local young people to help increase confidence, gain skills and achieve their potential. As a partner organisation in the East Perthshire Youth Alliance we also deliver an accredited voluntary awards programme for young people.
