The Bankruptcy and Debt Advice (Scotland) Act, implemented on 1st April 2015, contains provision to improve standards of financial capability in Scotland. As a result, Money Advice Scotland (MAS), at the request of Scottish Government, has developed its financial capability programme.
This project seeks to improve the financial education of individuals in Scotland (including the use of a financial capability e-learning module), as well as seeking to improve the delivery of financial capability guidance within the advice sector. This project has a national focus and seeks to build upon existing frameworks and networks.
We are seeking individuals with a strong knowledge of financial inclusion issues and debt prevention. Other requirements include experience of designing and delivering multi-format training, coaching, strong understanding of marketing, and outstanding communication skills. The successful candidate will join a team with Scotland-wide reach and will be involved in creating and delivering innovative training solutions to a variety of partners.
