We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tenancy Support Team Assistant to contribute to the provision of a customer focused tenancy sustainment service. The main purpose is to provide light touch practical help to our customers to help them to set up and settle into their tenancies through early intervention, liaising closely with the team of housing officers and the other members of the tenancy support team. You will also provide some administrative support to the tenancy support team. Reporting to the team leader, you will be part of a team of four people and will contribute to the overall effectiveness of that team.
You will use your excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills to provide an effective, efficient and responsive service to our customers and to be an active team player.
You should have a good general level of education (SVQ3 or equivalent). You should have at least 1 year’s recent experience in a relevant, customer facing role, with a working knowledge of welfare benefits and the principles around tenancy sustainment.
