The Project Assistant will report to the Head of Scotland but will also work closely with the Health Promotion and Training Officer and colleagues across the whole team.
The main purpose of the role will be to co-ordinate our volunteer activity and provide information and support to volunteers and participants in the BeWEL programme. You will be responsible for the recording of all project activity and managing the project calendar. You will also ensure volunteers have all the necessary information and resources required for them to undertake their roles.
You will be IT literate, self-motivated and outgoing, a team player with excellent communication and people skills.
Most importantly, you will have an interest in, empathy towards and commitment to the work of Bowel Cancer UK and its values.
