We have an exciting opportunity for you to become an Energy Adviser within the Services Delivery team based in our Edinburgh office. You will be primarily responsible for providing energy advice to households that will motivate and enable them to take action to reduce their fuel bills, cut carbon emissions and make their homes warmer and more comfortable.
Working on a shift pattern covering a combination of normal and ‘out of hours’ periods each week, your total working hours will be 37.5 hours a week. This will range from providing energy advice out of office hours between 8-9am or 5-8pm Monday-Friday and 9-5pm Saturdays. During normal office hours (9 -5pm Mon-Fri.) you will be required to support our Services Delivery team answering enquiries about a variety of grant and loan programmes which we manage on behalf of the Scottish Government and other funders.
The role has a real focus on customer service and delivering an effective customer journey is essential to the role.
You will speak with a wide range of customers on the phone and online and your ability to listen, empathise and then enable customers to take action will be critical.
