This is an exciting opportunity within Children 1st to support the development of a Family Group Decision Making service and a new Family Wellbeing Team. As Team Leader you you’ll provide leadership, operational management support to the team.
Family Group Decision Making draws on the strengths of the wider family and friends in deciding how best to care for a child, giving families the opportunity to participate in the decision making processes and find their own solutions to difficulties.
You will have a lead in supporting staff to work with vulnerable families and families in crisis. You will have the opportunity to shape the development of a new service, manage quality and support the evaluation of the service. You must have experience of managing teams who work within child protection.
If you are an experienced professional with a degree level qualification relating to Social Work, Psychology or other appropriate qualification, we want to hear from you.
This a fixed term, 28 hours per week post, initially funded until 01 October 2021
