Renfrewshire Women's Aid SCIO is a feminist organisation working for women, children and young people who are or have experienced domestic abuse. We provide information, support, and safe, confidential accommodation to women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse. The nature of our work requires a commitment to the values and ethos of Women's Aid.
The successful applicant will provide emotional and practical support to Women, Children & Young People who have experienced domestic abuse. Knowledge of Adult & Child Protection and Domestic Abuse is essential. Awareness of the National Strategy to Address Domestic Abuse and the work of Renfrewshire Women’s Aid locally and nationally.
Applicants will be educated to at least SVQ level 3 or equivalent in social care/community justice or recognised housing support practitioners qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience of providing services to vulnerable people.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and have the ability to work as part of a team. They will also have a passion for improving the lives of women and children who have experienced abuse. A full clean UK driving licence and access to own transport is required.

A group interview will be held on 25th September and successful applicants will attend a 1-1 interview on 8th October 2019.
