Hwupenyu Health & Wellbeing Project is a not-for-profit organisations and has developed comprehensive and cohesive provision for the delivery of HIV prevention and support services for Black Minority Ethnic communities living in Greater Glasgow. The project delivers services and activities that will place an emphasis on access, prevention, treatment, and therapeutic services in a culturally sensitive way.
We currently have a new position for a Mental Health Worker, the role is key to ensuring our organisation maintains its reputation and embraces best practice and highest standards of service. You will be supporting clients and their families within the BAME to bring about a better understanding of living with HIV and other health conditions, and most importantly the support available from Hwupenyu. The Mental Health Worker will also be able to establish good working relationships both within the organisation and externally. This is a post is funded for 3 years.
